Made in 2017 from Eagle Lake stone, found near Lake of the Woods.

Imagine the eagle represents love,
The eagle has total freedom and great vision,
Able to see from horizon to horizon,
Yet they can still spot a mouse or fish from high in the sky
Full of strength and beauty, able to soar gliding on the wild 
Or swoop with great speed to accomplish its goals 
Love is a lot like that,
It must be freely given from the heart
And have vision to see the big picture along with all the little details Gathering strength and sharing its beauty with the world
Love knows when to peacefully soar 
And knows when to act with speed and precision
For it is selfless
These teachings from our Creator and elders bring us together
In our search for lasting peace in this land Love brings us towards each other and helps bind us 
So that we may smoke the Pipe of Peace around our circles 
Grow love in our society and plant strong communities 
This carving is a call and reminder to our leaders and the people 
In order to share this land in peace,
We must start from the heart
